MUSICAL MOMENTS! – The Best songs from Stage and Screen
I put my phone on silent and when I looked up the cast had assembled on stage. Twelve beaming, poised young performers stood silently waiting for our attention and when we were ready they began. Their opening number Seasons of Love from Rent belied the fact that the performers were aged between 10 and 15. It was a confident, polished and harmonious beginning. This was the first of three Musical Moments shows this year and featured the youngest cast.
On a simple stage in an elegantly decorated room each performer delivered their songs beautifully. Every word was clearly heard and understood. This was particularly evident in the first two solos: Everlasting by Zoe Pool and Quiet by Annabelle Fleming, both 10 years old and performing like professionals with animation and emotion.

Not to be outdone, director Ben Francis and his team, Annabel Lane, Serena Martino-Wlliams and Camryn Jordans, performed the penultimate song From Now On demonstrating what excellent musical performers and role models they are.
