The small town of Guellen is bankrupt. They have been in streaky decline for decades. Their own only hope of recovery lies in the hands of Claire Zacchanassian, a former resident who left the town when she was 17. Claire has now become the richest woman on the planet and she has helped other nearby towns with their debt issues. she is willing to help her old town but there is a condition.
“The Visit” examines individual and collective morality, the effect of greed and materialism on the well being of a society and if justice is to be found in the judicial system.
