The Parsifal Project
4 May @ 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm
$30 – $55
Step into a story that’s as old as time yet profoundly relevant today.
The Parsifal Project is a transformative new theatre work three years in the making, reimagining Wolfram von Eschenbach’s medieval legend. UK playwright Peter Oswald’s finely crafted script offers the story through the eyes of women, as we explore themes of spiritual enlightenment, personal transformation, earth regeneration, and community connection.
At its heart is the spoken word — powerful, transformative, and deeply resonant. The production uniquely integrates First Nations elements together with a multicultural pro-amateur cast, and a fusion of contemporary and classical theatrical devices, to create a beacon of meaningful Arts engagement. Be immersed in this rare experience of multi-artforms including speech chorus, live music, singing, eurythmy, puppetry, choreography and acting! This production illumines a pathway of hope. It’s a call to action, and an artistic journey you don’t want to miss.
An Acknowledgement of Country will take place at 5.15pm on 26th April prior to the World Premiere.
