Middle aged Greg is tired of his job in finance and looking for meaning in life. He finds a cheeky & exuberant stray dog in the park bearing only the name “Sylvia” on her name tag. He takes an immediate liking to her and brings her home to meet his wife, Kate.

Unlike Greg, Kate is not so thrilled by this ‘loveable’ canine that jumps, slobbers, & cheekily sits on the new couch. Her career is taking off and right now she does not need a ‘Sylvia’ in her life! Reluctantly she agrees to give Sylvia a trial for a few days!

With Sylvia by his side, Greg is able to escape from his work stresses. But Kate remains unimpressed by Sylvia’s antics, and tension rises between the couple as Sylvia becomes a significant part of their life.
