Blackwood Players will be holding auditions, for the South Australian premiere of “Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em ” written by Guy Unsworth, and based on the TV Series by Raymond Allen.

Synopsis
It’s springtime at Frank and Betty’s House. Betty is pregnant but, as she attempts to tell Frank, he is preoccupied by possible newfound fame as a magician.
With guests arriving for dinner and crossed wires all round, priceless misunderstandings are on the menu.
Hilarious mishaps are DIY disasters that bring the house down, quite literally in this ensemble farce.

David Worthington (M) – Bank Manager (Scottish if possible) – (Mid 40’s – Mid 60’s)
Terry Luscombe (M) – Head of BBC Entertainment – (40 – Mid 60’s)
Desmond James (M) Cameraman – (20’s – mid 40’s)
Constable, (M) A London policeman (Cockney if possible) 20’s – mid 40’s
The play is performed by six actors. The following roles are doubled: David Worthington/Terry Luscombe and Desmond James/Constable.

Those who are auditioning for Frank Spencer, we ask you to prepare your accent and dress accordingly like Frank, for the audition.
