This will be a fast, funny and whimsical version of Shakespeare’s most popular play.
Marriage is in the air – the Duke is about to wed his warrior lover, four young friends are in a complicated love quadrangle, and the king and queen of the fairies are talking divorce – again.
Add in a group of amateur actors with more enthusiasm than talent, and their pushiest member, Bottom, and we have a classic comedy with some of the funniest scenes in theatre.

| Role Information: | We are looking for enthusiastic actors of all genders and ethnic backgrounds. Gender-blind casting will apply. Many of the characters will be doubled. Preference will be given to stage ages 18 to 45.Please be prepared to perform a short (no more than one minute) Shakespearean monologue (not a sonnet) of your choice.
