From the Editor

What a busy last month was! While I’ve been busy seeing Come From Away multiple times and a variety of other theatre and concerts, South Australia has been wowing our reviewers!

In the land of Encore, I am pleased to let you know that all the Encore’s have been uploaded in to our website and now slowly being published and made available to read online. Yes! All 33 years will be available right here!

If you know of any theatre companies that are thinking about joining TASA, now is the time! All new group members are able to access our discount till the end of year.

On the cover we have G&S Society of SA with Kinky Boots and University of Adelaide Theatre Guild with Seventeen.

THE SHOW MUST GO ON to premiere on ABC as part of Mental Health Week

The Show Must Go On follows former Home and Away actor and filmmaker Ben Steel on a soul-searching investigation into why are there so many entertainment workers developing and struggling with anxiety, depression and substance abuse and for the first time opening up a much-needed public conversation about their mental health and wellbeing.

The Theatre Guild concludes its 2019 season with Seventeen, Matthew Whittet’s beautifully observant work about the strains of youth, transformation and about letting go.
