The Quiz Night was a great success despite the lack of response from the majority of our members. Representatives from Hills Musical Company, Venture Theatre Company, Galleon Theatre Group and Burnside Players helped make the evening a success. Henley Drama Group and Daw Park Players sent apologies and Daw Park Players sent some tickets for their show, “Too Soon For Daisies”. Over $325 worth of prizes was given away and the main prize was awarded to the Burnside Players team. Well Done!
Thanks must also go to the many sponsors who provided the prizes and the advertisements which appear in this issue do so in response for their support.
Various people have suggested either an annual ball or a cabaret some time in the forthcoming year. This is a wonderful idea and we will raise it at our Annual General Meeting to be held in January.
You may have noticed that the quality of this print in Encore has improved recently. This is because we are now using a photocopier of which we are hoping to purchase.
