Tea Tree Players present “Unnecessary Farce”

38

A high-energy, laugh-out-loud comedy filled with mistaken identities, misunderstandings, and physical gags.

The story takes place in two adjoining rooms of an economy motel. The setup is simple: two inept police officers, Eric and Billie, are on a sting operation to catch the embezzling Mayor of the small town. Armed with surveillance equipment, they are supposed to record the Mayor confessing to his accountant, Karen, who’s waiting in the next room. But things quickly spiral out of control. With door-slamming entrances and exits, mistaken identities, and plenty of hilarity, Unnecessary Farce will have you in stitches. From a mysterious hitman with an unusual Scottish accent to a bumbling security agent, the tangled web of confusion deepens, resulting in a farce packed with fast-paced wit and physical comedy.
