Scarlet O’Hara at the Crimson Parrot

The Play:
Scarlett O’Hara is a thirty-something, accident-prone waitress, addicted to romance. A daydreamer, she imagines herself the heroine in her favourite classic films. But when real life romance arrives unexpectedly, will she be able to step out of the shadow of the Hollywood fairytale? Scarlett O’Hara at the Crimson Parrot is about dreams, romance and the magic of the unexpected.
Audition date: Saturday 11 March 2-5pm.
St Jude’s Hall, 444 Brighton Road, Brighton.
Roles required:
1 female – Shelley (stage age 28) Waitress, blonde? fancies herself as God’s gift to men. Waitressing experience would be an advantage.
1 male – Steve (stage age 35) Chef and owner of the restaurant. Possibly a love interest for Scarlett? Clark Gable, Humphrey Bogart type.
1 male – Gary (stage age 30) Sous chef, in his own eyes God’s gift to women.
All other roles have been cast.
Performance Dates: 8 – 18 November, 2023
Venue: St Jude’s Hall, 444 Brighton Road, Brighton.
Rehearsals: Commence 3rd Sept 2023
