The Drowsy Chaperone

Directed by David Sinclair
Musical Direction by Rodney Hrvatin
The play begins in the modest apartment of a lonely musical theatre fan – known only as “Man in Chair” – who puts on his favourite cast recording. As the record spins, the characters of a fictional 1928 musical burst to life in his living room, complete with mistaken identities, gangsters disguised as pastry chefs, a tap-dancing groom, and an intoxicated chaperone with a flair for drama.
Starring Scott Nell as the Man in the Chair and Bronwyn James as the Chaperone!
This production will charm the audience with wit, whimsy and toe-tapping tunes – challenging the golden age of Broadway.
