MCMT is proud to present the timeless musical classic, Oliver!, at The Arts Theatre this June.

Set in Victorian England, Oliver! follows the journey of a spirited young orphan who escapes the cruelty of the workhouse and finds himself swept into the world of Fagin and his band of pickpockets. When Oliver is wrongly accused of theft, he’s taken in by the kind-hearted Mr Brownlow – but Fagin, the menacing Bill Sikes and the compassionate Nancy conspire to drag him back to the gang, putting Oliver’s chance of finding a true home at risk.

Based on Charles Dickens’ classic novel, Oliver! is a heartwarming musical filled with unforgettable songs, vivid characters and powerful storytelling. A favourite with audiences across generations, it’s the perfect experience for families, musical lovers, and first-time theatregoers alike.
