Directed by Angela Short In 1955, The Pallas Players, an all-female theatre company is touring a comedy called Whisky Galore, set during the 1940s. The whisky supply has dried up on two small Scottish isles, leaving tensions running high. Relief seems to be at hand when a ship carrying 50,000 bottles of whisky is wrecked just offshore.
