SUMMARY:Spamalot
DESCRIPTION:Spamalot is a wildly funny musical based on the film “Monty Python and\nthe Holy Grail.” King Arthur and his coconut-clapping sidekick Patsy\nembark on a quest to recruit the bravest—and quirkiest—knights for\nCamelot.\nTogether\, they face ludicrous obstacles including insulting Frenchmen\,\nthe outrageous Knights Who Say Ni\, and not-so-damsels-in-distress\, led\nby the diva Lady of the Lake. God commands Arthur to find the Holy Grail\, \nsending the group on a riotous adventure filled with clever parody\, toe-\ntapping musical numbers\, and relentless silliness. \nBreaking the fourth wall\, Spamalot lovingly mocks musical theatre\nconventions\, inviting the audience into the chaos and ending with a\njubilant search for the Grail in the unlikeliest of places.

SUMMARY:THE BOY FROM OZ
DESCRIPTION:The Boy From Oz is the most successful Australian musical ever and the first to make it to Broadway. It is a musical biography/tribute to the late great Peter Allen. Peter Allen was born in the outback Australian town of Tenterfield in 1944. He made his entertainment debut at the age of 5 impersonating Al Jolson. As a teenager he became a pop star and then toured Asia. There he met Judy Garland who took him to London where he met and become engaged to her daughter Liza Minnelli. In the US Peter enjoyed the highs of success by winning an Oscar\, selling out performances in Radio City Music Hall\, and receiving adulation when he returned to Australia. There were also plenty of lows … breaking up with his wife\, staging a Broadway flop\, the death of his partner and his own battle with illness. Peter Allen had an extraordinary life which producer Ben Gannon realized had the potential to become a magnificent musical and with Robert Fox they turned it into the smash hit it became. \nThe Boy From Oz is a class above all other ‘jukebox’ musicals. The late Nick Enright skillfully weaved his plot around the life and complexities of Peter Allen. The songs and lyrics sit easily with the rhythm of the piece and with the characters as they enter and re-enter his life\, be they dead or alive. It leaps\, as does Peter himself\, from past to present and back to past all within the familiar context of one of his energy-packed concerts.

SUMMARY:THE BOY FROM OZ
DESCRIPTION:Written By: By Arrangement with David Spicer Productions www.davidspicer.com.au Music and Lyrics by Peter Allen. Book by Nick Enright Original Production by Ben Gannon and Robert Fox \nCreative Team: DIRECTOR: Selena Britz\nMUSICAL DIRECTOR: Jane Feast\nCHOREOGRAPHER: Carmel Vistoli \n\nThe Boy From Oz is the most successful Australian musical ever and the first to make it to Broadway. \n\nInformation Session: 03/06/2024\nMaylands Church of Christ Hall\, corner Portrush Road and Nora Street Maylands at 7:45 pm \n\nAudition Information: TRYBOOKING \n\n\n\nAudition Information #:0\n\n\nDate:\n16/06/2024\n\n\nTime From – Time to:\n2:30 pm to 10:00 pm at Maylands Church of Christ Hall\, corner Portrush Road and Nora Street\, Maylands\n\n\nAudition Information #:1\n\n\nDate:\n17/06/2024\n\n\nTime From – Time to:\n7:30 pm – 10:00 pm at Maylands Church of Christ Hall\, corner Portrush Road and Nora Street\, Maylands\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nCharacter Descriptions #:0\n\n\nRole Name:\nPETER ALLEN (Male)\n\n\nGender:\nMale\n\n\nStage Age:\n30\n\n\nRole Information:\nThe great Australian entertainer\, singer\, songwriter\, and dancer. SUMMARY:The Addams Family: A New Musical
DESCRIPTION:The Addams Family have lived by their unique values for hundreds of years and Gomez and Morticia\, the patriarch and matriarch of the clan\, would be only too happy to continue living that way however\, their dark\, macabre\, beloved daughter Wednesday\, has fallen in love with Lucas Beineke\, a sweet\, smart boy from a normal\, respectable Ohio family — the most un-Addams sounding person one could be! And to make matters worse\, she has invited the Beinekes to their home for dinner. In one fateful\, hilarious night\, secrets are disclosed\, relationships are tested\, and the Addams family must face up to the one horrible thing they’ve managed to avoid for generations: change.\nThis 2010 musical adaptation of the cartoons of Charles Addams and the subsequent TV series\, contains all the things we love about this spooky family\, plus music and dance breaks!
