Although each family is completely dissimilar\, the theme of love remains. \nOne of the great Australian classics\, ‘Away’ deals with family interactions\, personal loss & grief\, hope & unattainable dreams\, status and a better understanding of our place in a world of possibilities.

The time is November 1940. Britain has been conquered and occupied by Nazi Germany. The Shattock family run the Shy Gazelle\, with a clientele mostly of locals.
