One family with two events and\, as the saying goes\, “Weddings and funerals\, nothing like them for bringing out the best and worst in people”. Set in the early 1960s\, this lovely play introduces us to a very Northern family. The first act sees the family making wedding preparations and the second act is set six months later with the family returning from the funeral of their Uncle Arthur\, whose mistress\, much disparaged and ignored by the family\, turns up. A very entertaining observation of “the family”.

Set in the early 1960s\, this lovely play introduces us to a very Northern family. The first act sees the family making wedding preparations and the second act is set six months later with the family returning from the funeral of their Uncle Arthur\, whose mistress\, much disparaged and ignored by the family\, turns up. A very entertaining observation of “the family”.

DESCRIPTION:Adelaide Gang Show is a not for profit performing arts group proudly associated with Scouts Australia (SA Branch) and is currently in its 59th consecutive year of production. ​Established in 1961\, Adelaide Gang Show continues to be a training activity program of the Performing Arts Section of Scouts Australia (SA Branch)\, providing youth and young Adults practical experiences in performing and stagecraft. ​ Many Members of the Gang Show have found that the skills they have developed have led to lifelong benefits from character building and team work\, demonstrating practice and discipline\, being physically active and developing self confidence to showcase to an audience of hundreds each performance. \nCome along to Adelaide Gang Show’s 59th season and join our Crew on-board the Five Star Ship Entertainer.\nWe’ll take you on a journey across the stars and planets that you have only dreamed of! \nOur Cast of 80 Scouts and Guides from across Adelaide perform a selection of well known songs and original material written by our Production Team.\nWe hope you will enjoy our show that we believe will be ‘Out of this world’!
