SUMMARY:A Rock In The Limbus
DESCRIPTION:Sitting alone in solitude for millennia\, roasting in the warm sun\, chilling in the cool nights\, a product of entropy and science. Existing tall and sturdy in the outback a few kilometres away from Alice Springs\, a rock. A geological wonder of abiotic existence. It sits undisturbed\, unnoticed\, unregistered for its mildly out of place complexion\, until the pests arrive. The infestation to the planet\, the weed that’s spread from continent to continent. Humans. \nWhen word spreads through a myriad of ones and zeros with messages of conspiracy\, doubt\, excitement\, desire\, curiosity\, the consequences are made clear. Clear that the limbic system of the average human may not be equipped to handle the unexplainable\, unable to comprehend the ineffable\, void of the necessary tools to materialise the appropriate emotions to regulate the thoughts and responses necessary for dealing with such complex reality. \nLochie Daniel offers us an exaggerated perspective into the human condition. How the need for more can in fact\, reduce. This original story is told through the lives of 71 different people\, from authors to researchers\, game devs and students. Holly Hastings\, Isiah Macaspac\, and Gracie Greenrod are the 3 brave actors who embody these characters and tell the story. The story that places a lens on ourselves that we can use to examine our minds and push through the immature and the unnecessary to see that at the end of the day… it’s just a rock.

SUMMARY:Spring Awakening
DESCRIPTION:By Frank Wedekind \ntranslated by Edward Bond \ndirected by Jessie Chugg. \nWritten in 1891\, Spring Awakening is a play that explores teenagers inner turmoil as the adults in their lives enforce repressive atitudes towards sexuality and sex education. We follow Melchior\, Moritz and Wendla as they question\, and eventually refuse adult authority. This repressive authority in question ultimately leads our young characters to tragedy.

SUMMARY:AUSTRALIA DAY
DESCRIPTION:The Australia Day committee is gearing up to put on the town’s biggest party – but they have a few issues of their own to sort out first. With everyone from the Greens to the local mayor to the CWA wanting a piece of the party pie\, it’s proving hard yakka to work out what an Aussie celebration should look like. Nothing is sacred as the national identity is put through the ringer in this thoroughly modern ripper of a comedy! \nContent Advice: Contains occasional coarse language.

SUMMARY:Nobody's Fool
DESCRIPTION:Myrtle Banbury\, the queen of the romantic novel\, is back. \nYou may remember\, from 2024’s production Nobody’s Perfect\, Myrtle is in fact Leonard Loftis a divorced man\, living with his head strong\, but loving daughter Dee Dee and his scheming rascally father Gus. This time Leonard is faced with the problem of explaining the whereabouts of Myrtle as an investigative journalist TV presenter arrives to interview the famous author. With webcam\, ear pieces and speakers\, the family sets up an ill-fated three-way telephone call from Aunt Myrtle\, who is supposedly somewhere up the Amazon. \nTo add to the confusion the novelist’s former wife arrives\, having never met her ex-husband’s talented Aunt Myrtle – the ensuing chaos is fun for all!
