DESCRIPTION:This event is for anyone who wishes to be involved in Zest’s next major production – “Shrek The Musical”. We will provide information about the show\, characters\, rehearsal dates\, performance dates and audition details. Come along to register your interest in being involved both on and off stage. We are welcoming children\, youth and adults in this production. \nZest Theatre Group’s mission statement is \n\nTo encourage and nurture new talent\nTo mix those with experience with those looking for a beginning\nTo develop the ability to face difficulty with spirit and courage\n\n“Once upon a time\, there was a little ogre named Shrek….” And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy\, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits\, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily\, there’s one on hand… and his name is Shrek. \nAuditions:\nAuditions to be held 29th July (all details will be provided at Information Night) \nVenue:\nTBA \nRehearsals:\nTuesday nights as required (mainly Principal cast)\nWednesday nights 6.30pm – 9.30pm \nPerformances:\n2021 Victor Harbor Town Hall\, Victor Harbor\n6 Shows\n29th Jan – 7th Feb \nRoles Available:\nShrek\nPrincess Fiona\nDonkey\nLord Farquaad\nDragon\nFairytale Creatures including Pinocchio\, Gingy etc.\nEnsemble Roles including Young Princess Fiona\, little Shrek\, Mama and Papa Ogre\, Captain of the Guard etc.
