SUMMARY:Maytide’s It Is Well With My Soul
DESCRIPTION:Written By: Written by D. P. K. Maegraith\, Adapted by A. Broadbent and A. Gum. \nMusic by A. Lymn \nCreative Team: \nDirector: Ally Gum \nProduction Manager: Andrew Broadbent\nMusical Director: Alana Lymn \nChoreographer: Chloe Short \n\nAnna Larsen journeys from Norway to Chicago with her mother and sister\, seeking new beginnings in the bustling American city. There\, she meets Horatio Spafford—a respected lawyer—and their friendship grows into love\, culminating in a heartfelt marriage.\nThe Spafford family\, grounded in faith and community\, endures the catastrophic Great Chicago Fire\, which decimates most of Horatio’s real estate investments and changes their financial circumstances. Despite their efforts to rebuild in the aftermath\, financial recovery remains difficult\, adding stress and uncertainty to their lives.\nEventually\, for respite and with the intention of helping with revival meetings in England\, Anna and their four daughters set sail while Horatio stays behind to address urgent business. Tragedy strikes at sea—the S.S. Ville du Havre sinks\, and Anna alone survives\, sending Horatio the harrowing telegram: “Saved alone.” Overcome by grief\, Horatio travels to meet Anna and\, while crossing the site of the shipwreck\, finds inspiration to write the hymn “It Is Well with My Soul”.\nAnna and Horatio slowly learn how to overcome such a huge loss by leaning on each other\, their friends\, and their faith. \n\nInformation Session: \n\nAudition Information: https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1454451 \n\n\n\nAudition Information #:1\n\n\nDate:\n20/09/2025\n\n\nTime From – Time to:\n9:30-5\n\n\nAudition Information #:2\n\n\nDate:\n21/09/2025\n\n\nTime From – Time to:\n11:30-4\n\n\nAudition Information #:3\n\n\nDate:\n27/09/2025\n\n\nTime From – Time to:\n9:30-5\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nCharacter Descriptions #:1\n\n\nRole Name:\nAnna Spafford\n\n\nGender:\nFemale\n\n\nStage Age:\n\n\n\nRole Information:\nProtagonist. SUMMARY:I Wonder
DESCRIPTION:The hit science musical returns to Adelaide! \nWhen Phoebe’s house is flooded during a storm\, her parents take her to stay with her distant Uncle Linus in his rickety 200-year-old manor. With its many rooms and creaky floorboards\, Phoebe just wants to be back home. That is until she discovers her uncle working away in a grand laboratory! As Linus shares some spectacular science experiments\, Phoebe’s imagination takes over. Together\, they weave the experiments into a magnificent story that uncovers what it means to be family. \nThe biggest lessons to be learnt aren’t just ones of science… \nCo-written by global YouTube sensation\, Simon Blacket (Silly Science with Simon)\, and one of South Australia’s premiere young composers\, Benji Riggs\, I Wonder opened in 2024 with sold out shows and toured schools the same year. This year\, the musical returns to amaze Adelaide audiences with its catchy songs and incredible science once more. \n26 September – 3 October with multiple sessions daily. \nCast (alphabetically): Simon Blacket\, Sophia Genery\, Bethany Swift \nProduced by Silly Science with Simon & The Flying Elephant Company

SUMMARY:Hansard
DESCRIPTION:‘Hansard’ is an intimate domestic drama about a long and troubled marriage. It is also a comedy about politics and identity and the failings of the ruling class.\nThe set is a lovely country mansion in the Cotswolds. The time is a Saturday morning in the summer of 1988\, towards the end of the Thatcher years. It is the home of Tory cabinet member Robin Hesketh and his politically-opposed\, stay-at-home\, wife of 30 years\, Diana.\nBut all is not as blissful as it seems. The couple are at odds over Robin’s part in assisting a recent piece of sensitive legislation to be passed in parliament during the last week.\nThe play ends with a ‘delicate’\, heart–rending revelation.
